Season 3 vs Season 2 Overview
What Actually Carries Over (and What Changes)
Season 3 (Dinosaur Era) may look very different, but at its core, it still runs on the same backbone as Season 2.
If you understood Season 2, you already understand 70% of Season 3
You’ll still be dealing with:
- Creature Farming – Hunting dinosaurs for resources and progression
- Virus Resistance – Expanding safely and unlocking higher-tier content
- Seasonal Buildings – Structures like Biotech Labs, Greenhouses, and other event-specific buildings that drive resistance, resource generation, and overall progression
- Glory Wars – PvP battles, territory control, and alliance coordination
What’s New
On top of those core systems, Season 3 introduces several new mechanics:
- Fossil collection and progression systems
- Dinosaur growth and companion mechanics
- Trade Hub economy and diamond generation
- New shops and resource loops (Bio Institute, Eggs, etc.)
What This Means
Season 3 isn’t a replacement—it’s an expansion.
You’re still playing the same core game, but now you’re managing:
- More systems
- More resources
- More optimization opportunities
Updated Terminology
Season 3 / Dinosaur Era terminology mapping
| Season 3 Term | Season 2 Equivalent |
|---|---|
| Velociraptors | Snow Leopards |
| Stegosaurus | Frost Banes |
| Predator Squads | Yetis |
| Fean Leaf | Icebloom |
| Cretaceous Scale | Frost Core |
| Pinecones | Snowballs |
Recommended Season Purchases
If you are competitive, this is the efficient spend path:
| Pack | Why |
| Wartime Investment x4 ($40 total) | +1 Greenhouse forever, extra season perks |
| Season Journey Premium ($25) | Massive resistance + resources |
| Fern Leaf Pack Week 1 ($10) | Initial Purchase at least – Jump-starts Biotech Lab |
| Cretaceous Scale Pack Week 1 ($10) | Initial Purchase at least – Lets you upgrade early instead of waiting |
| Season Heroes & Equipment ($20/ea) | 3 Heroes & related equipment will be released |
❗ The first week matters more than the rest of the season combined.
If you snowball early, you stay ahead.
Core Loop
Kill dinos → collect → upgrade → spend (on weekends)
What this actually means:
- Ancient Dino Eggs → Your main currency
- Pinecones (Snowballs) → Upgrade your dinosaur specialization
- Fossils → Collection system + points + rewards
- Cretaceous Scales (Frost Cores) → Used in Biology Lab (MOST IMPORTANT)
Strategy:
- Farm nonstop during the week
- Dump resources on weekends for events + rewards
Season Heroes
Licia
Blood Rose

First hero released. Her battle pass is the first of the season.
Liliana
Wings of Dawn

Second hero. Massive damage with high damage factor.
Dodomeki
Guard of Order

Third hero. Normal attack boost and per-hit damage.
Creature Farming
Cretaceous Scales come from:
- Stegosaurus (Boomers) – 16-20 Fuel Per Rally
- Velociraptors – 8 Fuel Each
- Predator Squads
Always do Stegosaurus first. Velociraptors last.
Daily Farming Rule
Week 1 & 2:
- You get 30 attempts
- Kill 30 Stegosaurus
- Then kill Velociraptors
After Week 2:
- You get 15 attempts
- Rewards are doubled
- Kill 15 Stegosaurus
Then kill Velociraptors
Bones & Eggs Boom
During this limited-time event, hunting dinosaurs gives modified drop rates for key resources.
Event Effects
Cretaceous Scales Boost
- Slaying Velociraptors and Stegosauruses grants:
- 2x Cretaceous Scales
- Daily Cretaceous Scale drops are increased
Ancient Dino Eggs Adjustment
- Slaying Velociraptors and Stegosauruses still drops:
- Ancient Dino Eggs
- However:
- Daily Ancient Dino Egg drops are reduced by 50%
What This Means
- You get more Cretaceous Scales (great for progression)
- You get fewer Dino Eggs per day (slower egg farming)
Ancient Dinos

Ancient Dinos is one of the biggest weekly server-wide events—a massive damage race where everyone piles onto a single target for top rewards and bragging rights.
Event Timing
- Occurs every Sunday
- Starts at 12:00 PM Apocalypse Time
Event Overview
- A massive Ancient Dinosaur spawns
- The entire state attacks at the same time
- There is:
- No attack limit
- Unlimited damage opportunities
Think: World Boss… but everyone is competing for the top spot
Ranking & Rewards
Top Damage Rewards
- The Top 3 damage dealers during the first kill receive: Exclusive Title (unique & limited)
Damage-Based Ranking
- Players are ranked by: Total damage dealt
- Higher damage = better rewards
The 5 Ancient Dinosaurs
Each week may feature different dinos, but the core lineup includes:
- T-Rex – High damage threat
- Triceratops – Durable, tanky
- Pterosaur – Fast, potentially burst-heavy
- Ankylosaurus – Defensive powerhouse
- Dimetrodon – Balanced offense/defense
Hatch of Legends

Hatch of Legends is the Season 3 evolution of the Snowman Event (Season 2)—but instead of a temporary boost, you’re building a combat companion that directly increases your power.
Hatch it → Grow it → Scale your stats → Dominate fights
Event Overview
- Hatch and raise a dinosaur companion
- Your dino:
- Fights alongside you
- Grants scaling attribute bonuses
Choosing Your Dinosaur
You can hatch one of three:
- T-Rex
- Triceratops
- Ankylosaurus
Important:
- All dinosaurs provide the same stat bonuses
- Choice is cosmetic + preference only
Pick what looks cool—you’re not gaining a stat advantage
Progression System
Your dinosaur’s growth is driven by two key resources:
Pet Feed
Used to:
- Hatch eggs
- Upgrade growth stages
- Accelerate progression
Pinecones
Used to:
- Enhance dino specialization
- Increase overall effectiveness and stat scaling
Pet Feed = growth speed
Pinecones = power scaling
Daily Tasks
- You get 5 limited-time tasks per day
- Completing them rewards: Pet Feed
Strategy
- Never skip daily tasks
- This is your primary progression driver
Growth & Stat Bonuses
As your dinosaur levels up:
- You gain increasing attribute bonuses
- Primary stat scaling:
Troop Attack Scaling
- Each level = +1% Troop Attack
- Max level (30) = +30% Troop Attack
Level 16
- Unlock Vehicle Troop Skin
- You can choose ONE skin only
Temporary System
All bonuses are season-limited:
- Attribute boosts removed at season end
- Vehicle skins removed at season end
Fossil Album

The Fossil Album is a collection-based progression system that rewards you for gathering dinosaur fossils throughout Season 3. It works very similarly to the Season 2 Ice Pit Fishing Index. If you understood fishing index progression… you already understand this system.
How It Works
- There are 20 unique fossils to collect
- Each fossil fills a slot in your Fossil Album
- As you collect more fossils, you unlock:
- Progression rewards
- Milestone bonuses
Progression Rewards
As your album fills, you’ll earn:
- Hero Fragments
- Ancient Dino Eggs
- Exclusive Equipment Fragments
- Tactical Plugin Chests
The more complete your album, the better the rewards
Bio Institute Shop

The Bio Institute Shop is one of the highest-value places to spend Ancient Dino Eggs—but it’s time-gated and limited, so efficiency matters.
Availability
- Open Saturday & Sunday only
- Closed the rest of the week
Core Currency
- Ancient Dino Eggs are used for all purchases
These come from:
- Dino Rescue
- Fossil Album (duplicates)
- Seasonal events
What the Shop Sells
The Bio Institute Shop focuses on high-tier progression items:
- Exclusive Equipment Fragments
- Orange Hero Fragments
- Badges
Refresh System
- You get 14 total refreshes per weekend
- Each refresh rerolls available items
Strategy Guide
1. Don’t Panic Buy
- The shop is RNG-based
- Just because something appears doesn’t mean:
- It’s optimal
- Or worth your eggs
Bad purchases hurt more than missed ones
2. Prioritize High-Impact Items
Best value targets:
- Exclusive Equipment Fragments (hardest to get elsewhere)
- Orange Hero Fragments (core progression)
- Badges (situational but useful)
3. Use Refreshes Smartly
You only get 14 refreshes, so:
- Don’t burn them all early
- Scan shop first
- Refresh when:
- Options are low value
- You’re hunting specific items
Best Weekly Flow
- Farm eggs during the week
- Enter weekend with stockpile
- Evaluate shop inventory
- Use refreshes strategically
- Buy only high-value items
Dino Rescue

Dino Rescue is the Season 3 evolution of the Yeti system—but with higher scaling, tighter limits, and way more competition.
Instead of hunting creatures, you’re:
Intercepting armed Predator Squads transporting dinosaurs—and stealing the rewards.
Event Overview
- Available throughout the week
- Targets: Predator Squads (Lv. 1–200)
- Daily limits:
- Monday–Saturday: 2 kills per day
- Sunday: 5 kills per day
Sunday: Black Market Guardian
This is where the real rewards are.
Boss Details
- Levels up to 350
- Massive HP pool
- Damage-based ranking system
Statewide Cooperation (IMPORTANT)
Sunday includes:
- Statewide achievement rewards
What This Means
- Everyone benefits when the boss is pushed further
- Cooperation > selfish play
Smart Play
- Encourage participation
- Help push milestones
- Don’t grief the event by holding back
Hero Level Swap
Level Swap is one of the most powerful systems in the game when used correctly.
It lets you: Rip all progress off one hero and instantly transfer it to another
If you use it right, you can:
- Instantly pivot your meta
- Fix bad investments
- Power up new heroes without grinding from scratch
What Level Swap Does
Using a Level Swapper, you can exchange between two heroes:
- Hero Levels (always swapped)
- Skill Levels (optional, with restrictions)
How It Works
Core Rules
- Hero levels are fully exchanged between both heroes
- Skill swapping is optional
- You can choose:
- Which skills to swap
- Which to leave untouched
Skill Swap Rules (IMPORTANT)
Same Rarity Heroes
If both heroes share the same rarity:
- Skill levels in matching slots can be swapped
- Example:
- Skill Slot 1 ↔ Skill Slot 1
- Skill Slot 2 ↔ Skill Slot 2
Star Level Limitation
If the new hero:
- Does NOT meet the star requirement for that skill level:
Then:
- Skill is reduced (capped) to max allowed level
- Extra skill books are fully refunded
This is actually huge—you don’t lose resources.
Different Rarity Heroes
If heroes are different rarity:
- Skill levels DO NOT transfer
- ONLY hero levels are swapped
Translation: You’re only moving XP.
Skill Locking Mechanic
After swap:
If a hero’s level is:
- Below the skill unlock requirement
Then:
- Skill becomes temporarily locked
- Unlocks again once level requirement is met
Pro Tips
- Always:
- Check rarity
- Check star level
- Check skill unlock requirements
- Plan swaps around:
- Events
- PvP windows
- Resource efficiency
Example Scenario
You have:
- Old Hero (Lv. 150, max skills)
- New Meta Hero (Lv. 1)
Swap Result:
- New Hero → Lv. 150 instantly
- Skills transfer (if same rarity)
- If star level is low:
- Skills cap
- Excess books refunded
Dino Egg Defense
Dino Egg Defense is the Season 3 version of Zombie Siege—but with higher scaling difficulty, tighter coordination requirements, and way less room for sloppy play.
Your job is simple:
Protect the ancient eggs at all costs.
Fail that, and your rewards go straight into the dumpster.
Event Overview
- Wave-based defense mode
- Dinosaurs attack in increasingly difficult waves
- Played solo or alliance-supported
- Similar structure to Zombie Siege, but:
- More burst damage enemies
- Stronger elite units
- Higher punishment for weak troop setups
Trade Hubs (PVP Control)

If you control the Trade Hubs, you control the season economy. Trade Hubs are one of the highest-value alliance objectives in Season 3. If your alliance ignores them, you’re basically donating free diamonds to people who didn’t.
Event Timing
- Opens at 11:00 PM Apocalypse Time
- Occurs on: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Week Structure
- Week 1: State-only competition
- Week 2+: Cross-state competition (things get sweaty real fast)
What Are Trade Hubs?
Trade Hubs are capturable alliance structures that:
- Generate Diamond Tax Envelopes
- Unlock exclusive Trade Hub shops
- Provide controlled access to high-value resources
Think of them as: Alliance-owned diamond printers with a VIP Costco attached.
Capturing Trade Hubs
- Alliances must occupy and hold the hub
- Stronger alliances will:
- Rally
- Reinforce
- Fight for control during active windows
Strategy Tips
- Pre-stage troops before reset
- Use fast rallies right at open
- Assign:
- Rally leaders
- Reinforcement fillers
- Expect:
- Heavy PvP after cross-state unlock
Diamond Tax System
Once captured, Trade Hubs generate diamond tax envelopes.
How It Works
- Players spend diamonds in the hub
- A portion becomes tax revenue
- Distributed as envelopes to alliance members
Key Insight
- More traffic = more diamonds
- More diamonds = bigger payouts
Translation: If your hub is dead, you’re doing it wrong.
Access Control (IMPORTANT)
Alliance leaders can control who can use the hub:
Phases of Access
- Alliance-only access (early phase)
- Maximizes internal gains
- Public access (later phase)
- Opens hub to everyone
- Increases tax generation massively
Meta Strategy
- Keep it private early to gear up your alliance
- Open it later to farm diamonds from the entire state (or enemy state)
Trade Hub Shop
Everything in the Trade Hub shop costs diamonds, but the value is insane compared to normal sources.
Available Items
- Hero Fragments
- Badges
- Plugin Chests
- Steel
- Speed-Ups
- Power Cores
Why It Matters
This is one of the best ways to convert diamonds into power.
If you’re sitting on diamonds and NOT using the Trade Hub… you’re griefing yourself.
Advanced Strategy
1. Traffic Farming
- Open hub to public during peak times
- Encourage:
- State chat spam (yes, really)
- “Come spend diamonds here” propaganda
- Goal: Turn your hub into the server’s Walmart
2. Cross-State Abuse
Once cross-state begins:
- Enemy players can use your hub (if open)
- That means:
- You tax THEIR diamonds
- While beating them in PvP
That’s not just winning… that’s financial domination.
3. Alliance Coordination
- Rotate players to:
- Always reinforce
- Prevent snipes
- Assign leadership roles:
- Hub manager (controls access timing)
- PvP commander
- Reinforcement captains
4. Timing the Open
Best practice:
- First 30–60 mins: Alliance-only
- After stabilization: Open to public
- Late phase: Keep open for max tax farming
Common Mistakes
- Not showing up at reset time
- Leaving hub open too early
- Never opening it (low tax = wasted potential)
- Weak reinforcement (easy takeover)
- No coordination = free loss
